#MimosaHacks – with Kavi Reserve!

It’s all about dad this weekend! And what do dad’s love more than most… uh, dad things? Whisky! We’ve been obsessing over the new Kavi Reserve – a small batch cold-brewed coffee blended Canadian Whisky (say that 3 times fast!) that’s expertly crafted with all natural ingredients. The coffee and whisky are made specifically to compliment each other, resulting in something seriously delicious, and totally unique. And at Father’s Day brunch we’ll take all the caffeine we can get! So we had to rise to the challenge of working this whisky into an epic mimosa… and we were blown away by the results!

Recipe #1 – Kavi Kiss

What You’ll Need

  • 1 oz Kavi Reserve
  • 1 oz Off-Dry Sparkling Wine (We used Joiy Sparkling!)
  • 1 oz Mixed Berry Juice
  • 0.5 oz Pineapple Juice
  • Fresh fruit for garnish

Directions

  • Step 1: In a cocktail shaker add a few ice cubes, 1 oz Kavi Reserve, 1 oz Mixed Berry Juice, and 0.5 oz Pineapple Juice. Shake well.
  • Step 2: Pour into 1 Champagne flute.
  • Step 3: Top with 1 oz Off-Dry Sparkling Wine.
  • Step 4: Garnish with Fresh Fruit.
  • Step 5: Enjoy! Take a picture and post it on Instagram to make your friends jealous. 😉

Recipe #2 – Sparkling Kavi Sour

What You’ll Need

  • 1.5 oz Kavi Reserve
  • 2 oz Dry Sparkling Wine (We used Codorniu Cava!)
  • 1/2 an Egg White
  • 1.5 oz Lemonade
  • A splash of Lemon Juice

Directions

  • Step 1: In a cocktail shaker add a few ice cubes, 1.5 oz Kavi Reserve, 1/2 an Egg White, 1.5 oz Lemonade, and a splash of Lemon Juice. Shake well.
  • Step 2: Pour into 1 Champagne coupe (a whisky glass works too!).
  • Step 3: Top with 2 oz Dry Sparkling Wine.
  • Step 4: Enjoy! And sip slowly ‘cuz this is a strong one… or don’t! 😉

Recipe #3 – Kavi Cherry Lips

What You’ll Need

  • 1 oz Kavi Reserve
  • 1 oz Off-Dry Sparkling Wine (We used Lily Sparkling!)
  • 1 oz Tart Cherry Juice
  • Fresh berries for garnish

Directions

  • Step 1: In a cocktail shaker add a few ice cubes, 1 oz Kavi Reserve, and 1 oz of tart cherry juice. Shake well.
  • Step 2: Pour into 1 Champagne flute (or use a stemless one like we did!).
  • Step 3: Top with 2 oz Off-Dry Sparkling Wine.
  • Step 4: Enjoy! …and make one for dad, he deserves it!
